This year’s shortlisted artists for the Jarman Award have been announced. The award winner of £10.000 will be announced on 24th November 2020.
The touring across the venues will be different this year, because it will happen online, as a virtual tour across the UK from 24th September till 19th November. Each online screening will be hosted on the websites of the art venues and includes a Q & A afterwards.
The shortlisted artists and their tour events:

Michelle Williams Gamaker, House of Women (2017), 14’17” at g39 Cardiff on 15th October, 12:00 pm
Jenn Nkiru, BLACK TO TECHNO (2019), 20’ at Nottingham Contemporary on 22nd October, 12:00 pm
Hannah Quinlan and Rosie Hastings, In my Room (2020), 17’44” at Spike Island on 29th October, 12:00 pm
Project Art Works, Illuminating the Wilderness (2019), 38’ at Towner Eastbourne on 5th November, 12:00 pm
Larissa Sansour, In Vitro (2019), 28’ at The MAC Belfast on 19th November, 12:00 pm
All shortlisted artists will also have a livestream programme on 14th and 15th November between 01:00 pm and 06:00 pm at The Whitechapel Gallery.
